Dipslide AB-T&YM-RM bacteria
Detection range: Bacteria: 102-107CFU/ml; Yeast: 102-106CFU/ml; Mold: "+" - "++
Product details

Dipslide for bacterial testingOriginally, it was used to address various physical, chemical, and microbial changes that occur in samples during the transportation of media. Due to its portability, ability to maintain various properties of samples, and high cost-effectiveness, it is widely used for the detection of various fluids such as industrial water systems, cooling water, production and packing water.

Monitoring the total bacterial count can be used to ensure the safety and hygiene quality of products in fields such as drinking water, swimming pools, food, pharmaceuticals, and hospital environments. In addition, yeast and mold are common microorganisms in outdoor environments, and they may breed in damp or damaged buildings, floors, ceilings, and air conditioning systems. Detecting yeast and mold can help detect potential indoor environmental issues early and take appropriate preventive and control measures to prevent further microbial growth and health risks.

Pyxis Dipslide AB-T&YM-R is mainly used for semi quantitative testing of bacteria, yeast, and mold, helping users to timely detect and solve microbial problems, maintain system efficiency and performance, and ensure that water quality and environment meet relevant requirements. The AB-T&YM-R series are double-sided bacterial test strips, with one side used for detecting bacteria and the other side used for detecting yeast and mold. Widely used in various industries such as cooling water, swimming pools, chemical industry, and food.

Precautions for storage and use

1. The shelf life of Dipslide AB-T&YM-R test strips is 6 months. If colonies have already grown on the test strips before testing, please discard them immediately.

2. Direct sunlight and high temperatures can cause water loss and indicator failure in agar. Please store this product in a cool and dry place, with the optimal storage temperature being 12-25 ℃.

3. Dipslide AB-T&YM-R bacterial test strips must be kept sealed before use, and must be used immediately after being unscrewed. They cannot be reused.

4. Changes in temperature and humidity during storage can cause sterile condensed water to form inside the bacterial test tube, but have no impact on the results themselves.

During the process of microbial reproduction, adverse odors may be produced. It is recommended to wear relevant protective equipment before opening the lid for observation.

6. After use, the test strips should be disposed of reasonably according to local regulations, and can be sterilized by high temperature and high pressure wet heat. After soaking in disinfectant overnight, they should be thrown into the waste bin.

Comparison of total bacterial test results for AB-T&YM-R bacterial tablets. Common customer questions and answers

What is the difference between Dipslide AB-T and Dipslide AB-T&YM-R?
Dipslide AB-T is mainly used to detect the total number of bacteria, and its two sides are consistent. The carriers on both sides of Dipslide AB-T&YM-R are different. One side is used to detect the total number of bacteria, while the other side is used to detect mold and yeast. If it is necessary to simultaneously detect bacteria, mold, and yeast, Dipslide AB-T&YM-R has a higher cost-effectiveness.
How long does Dipslide AB-T&YM-R need to be cultured for, and do bacteria and fungi produce results simultaneously?
The results are not released simultaneously. Generally, the bacterial test results are observed 1-2 days later; The results of yeast and mold testing will be observed after 3-5 days. After the analysis of bacterial test results is completed, Dipslide AB-T&YM-R should be placed in the incubator until the analysis of yeast and mold test results is completed.
Can bacterial test strips be used to test seawater?
Our Dipslide AB-T&YM-R is capable of testing microorganisms in seawater, and the final color of the bacterial cells may appear lighter compared to normal water quality. If there are microorganisms in your sample that cannot grow on our Dipslide, it may be related to some inhibitory components in the sample solution. We welcome samples to be sent over for further research and resolution of this issue.
What are the characteristics of bacterial testing tablets?
The operation time for testing bacterial tablets is relatively short, usually only within 1 minute. And learning and using microbial test strips only takes a few minutes, while other ordinary microbial testing experiments usually take about 4 hours and require professional personnel and equipment.
